Several teams went full mono and that was partially because of their opponent's colors:
- Michigan State had to wear green at Boston College since BC chose to wear all-white for their annual Red Bandana game, that honors BC alum and 9/11 hero Welles Crowther.
- Michigan wore all blue since USC wears yellow pants.
- Minnesota went maroon-out, and I bet that is because Iowa is such a yellow-dominant team.
- Northwestern went mono-white, which is good since Washington is the other purple team in the Big-10.
UCLA wore white pants which is not a common happening. And with Purdue wearing white pants on the road, half the 16 teams playing wore white pants!
